AVAD Delivers Leading Commercial Solutions, Wins Awards at InfoComm 2013
Custom electronics distributor showcases commercial solutions and earns acclaim at InfoComm 2013
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – June 19, 2013 – AVAD LLC, the leading provider of innovative solutions to the residential and commercial custom installation markets, recently presented attendees to InfoComm 2013 with demos of commercial integration solutions in the form of the Pacific Heights Hotel, a unique hotel-themed concept designed to exhibit commercial integration in a new style that highlighted leading solutions for retail, hospitality, quick service restaurants, bars and other commercial business categories.
Visitors to InfoComm 2013, held June 12-14 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., experienced interactive product demonstrations and information stations from among AVAD’s catalog of over 75 major technology brands and discovered the complimentary design and collaboration services provided by the AVAD System Design Group.
In recognition of its work with the AVAD Vendopalooza event and training series, the distributor was awarded the Commercial Integrator BEST Award for Training, Consulting & Publications/Business Services at a special awards ceremony held at InfoComm. The BEST Award recognizes superior products and services that are acknowledged as leading resources based on innovation, functionality, competitive advantages and benefits to the installer.
AVAD, along with Fortune 100 parent company Ingram Micro, was also awarded the Favorite Distributor honor in rAVe Publications’ 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards. Nominees for the contest were selected and voted on by industry fans and readers, producing over 62,000 votes to determine an accurate representation of preferred industry leaders.
