Display Development Brings New In-Wall Projectors to CEDIA EXPO 2012

Display Development, a leading manufacturer of custom video display systems that meet the demands of room ergonomics, environments and architectural characteristics, will proudly introduce two new high performance in-wall high definition projection systems—the In-Wall System 3 (IW3) and In-Wall System 4 (IW4)–at CEDIA EXPO 2012. The new Display Development IW3 and IW4 video systems are designed to provide a superior screening room experience when in a dark environment and an unmatched television viewing experience in a room when all the lights are on.

“The IW3 and IW4 are unique in application and provide the custom installation industry with solutions for incorporating big bright images into spaces where putting a projector on the ceiling is not practical,” said Jim Burns, president of Display Development. “We designed this series of projectors with custom installers in mind. From ease of installation, to integration flexibility, to unmatched performance, the IW3 and IW4 provide the perfect projector solution for living spaces of any kind.”

Both the IW3 and IW4 projectors are dual lamp, three-chip DLP® projectors designed to offer superior television and film experiences in all types of lighting environments, the IW3 is capable of light output of 8,000 lumens while the IW4 boasts 6,000 lumens. Combined with screen materials that work in rooms with ambient light, the IW systems create a TV solution that is far superior to a flat panel TV in terms of image size, fidelity and overall experience coupled with the ability for integrators to provide a completely concealed system when not in use.

Key temperature points inside each projector’s chassis are carefully monitored by Display Development’s proprietary ventilation system to ensure proper operation. The projectors’ included surface-plated mirror system project beautiful, high definition images forward and feature significant offset adjustments and geometric distortion correction that improve installation flexibility.

Display Development will showcase its range of products throughout CEDIA EXPO 2012, held September 6-8 in Indianapolis, Ind. Visitors to the showcase will take in demos of the latest products at the Display Development booth (#927) on the show floor as well as Sound Room 110 near Hall D of the convention center.
