Mike Anderson, President and CEO
Anderson boasts over three decades of experience in the consumer electronics and custom integration industries. His background includes ownership of several highly successful integration firms as well as senior management leadership roles with high profile brands like JVC, Niles Audio and Russound. Anderson offers a unique perspective that is informed by his broad expertise in a variety of fields including engineering, business administration, sales, product development and marketing. As the leader of the talented ACTP team, Anderson’s goal is to provide innovative automation solutions that provide comfort, pleasure and peace of mind to ACTP’s customers.
Matt Curtin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Curtin’s began his career with Tweeter Etc. as a salesperson and subsequently Mobile Electronic Manager and Operations Manager. He joined Russound in 2005 and held positions in technical support, training and dealer support. In 2009, he was named Director of Sales Operations and led the dealer support, training and inside sales teams. After a successful 8-year career with Russound, he joined Automated Control Technology Partners in July 2012. With the help of his dedicated team, Curtin’s goal is make TiO the most customer-driven company in the home integration business. He wants TiO to be the integrator’s best friend and most reliable partner.
Bert Culpepper, Director of Software Development
Culpepper brings an impressive background in software engineering to the ACTP team. He has worked in a number of different engineering and software development roles with companies such as Scientific Research Corporation, L-3 Communications and Mitsubishi Electric. Culpepper’s goal is to develop bulletproof solutions that turn complex technologies into simple and elegant customer solutions.
Kyle Anderson, Director of Operations
Anderson will utilize his talents in purchasing, logistics, manufacturing and quality control processes in his role as the Director of Operations for ACTP. Having previously served in management roles at Envirotech Integration Systems, a Dallas-based integration firm, and Best Buy, he has a deep understanding of the needs in the custom installation channel and consumer demands. Anderson’s goal is to ensure that TiO products are delivered on time with zero defects.
David Fonseca, Creative Marketing Director
Fonseca is a talented and award-winning brand development expert. As the previous Creative Director of Niles Audio and owner of FYI Studio, he has a unique combination of insight into creating brands from the ground up and experience within the custom and consumer electronics industry. Fonseca is a key member of the marketing and product development teams as he is responsible for all aspects of TiO’s branding, interface design and messaging.
Mike Matson, Controller
Matson oversees the day-to-day financial operations for ACTP and its brands. He boasts an impressive resume with over two decades of experience as a controller, finance manager and CPA ranging in roles that include serving as the VP of Finance of IDS Sports, Regional Controller for AmerisourceBergen and Accounting Manager at Conn’s Home Plus. Matson is not your average “bean counter” and his goal is to provide the best support possible to TiO’s valued dealers and partners.
Timothy Dunigan, Training Manager
Dunigan brings significant experience in the consumer electronics and IT industries. His CE career began as a technical specialist for a Florida-based custom audio/video company. He joined Russound in 2007 as a product trainer and later became International Sales Manager. His expertise includes classroom instruction, curriculum development and online training development. Dunigan’s goal is to make TiO the easiest home automation solution to learn and master. He will use his passion for training and education to help every TiO dealer do their job as efficiently and successfully as possible.
Cody Kasten, Technical Support Manager
Kasten has outstanding technical knowledge, passion, and dedication which he brings to the technical support team everyday. During his 15 years in the industry, Katsen has held a variety of roles including Technician, Lead Integrator and Field Manager of several successful integration companies. Kasten owned and operated his own firm, Wire Pro Communications, from 2003 to 2009. His consummate professionalism and dedication to the customer make him TiO’s most valuable player.
“We feel great about the talent we have been able to bring onboard,” said Anderson. “We have a great blend of industry veterans and some newcomers who have really challenged our thinking. This diverse group has been able to come together quickly and we have really pushed the envelope of the product development process. It has been a great few months and we look forward to sharing more about the TiO product line in the coming weeks. I think integrators and consumers are going to love our approach.”
TiO systems will run on Android-enabled devices, allowing users to better utilize the world’s most popular mobile platform. Promising to stand as one of the easiest home automation systems to set up, each system will be easily configured by a professional integrator via the convenience of an Android tablet.
In addition to ease of setup, TiO systems will also offer professional integrators the luxury of specifying systems based on a nearly flat system pricing structure—a benefit that sets it apart from other home automation systems. TiO will unveil its initial product offering in June 2013 and will demonstrate product for the first time at InfoComm 2013, June 12-14 in Orlando. The product is expected to ship by July 1.
