MSE Audio to Showcase Induction Dynamics ID1 at CEDIA 2019

Overland Park, Kan. – August 5, 2019 – MSE Audio; parent company of SoundTube Entertainment, Soundsphere, dARTS, Phase Technology, Induction Dynamics, SolidDrive and Rockustics; announced the Induction Dynamics ID1, a switchable four-way tower speaker with dual 10-inch subwoofers. MSE Audio will showcase the Induction Dynamics ID1 at CEDIA 2019 in booth 3925.

MSE Audio’s Induction Dynamics ID1 pushes the envelope in audio performance by combining a four-way tower speaker with a subwoofer via a rear switch. Incorporating a three-way design, the ID1 features dual 10-inch subwoofers with an upper drive spaced to alleviate floor-bounce resonances. Measuring 56 inches tall, 11 inches wide and 10.5 inches deep, the ID1 is an impressive, floor-standing speaker.

“The ID1 is designed to create an immersive audio experience by incorporating the highest quality materials and innovative design,” said Michael Sipe, Vice President of U.S. Sales for MSE Audio. “The ID1 features an innovative toggle switch, which allows users to operate the ID1 as either a three-way plus subwoofer, ideal for home theater, or as a four-way stereo. Each Induction Dynamics speaker is hand-tuned to exact specifications to achieve precise sound in any home theater or stereo listening environment.”

The ID1 features MSE Audio’s patented crossover, S4X super 4th order, with almost 30-db-per-octave slopes at 80, 700 and 3800 Hz. The ID1 drivers include a 1.125-inch titanium, inverted-dome, phase-controlled tweeter, with a three-inch soft dome midrange and a 6.5-inch Kevlar woofer. The subwoofers incorporate a dual 10-inch, mica-graphite poly cone driver with a case frame and rubber surrounds. The ID1 features a three-way partition with a nominal impedance of eight ohms, 98-dB for one-watt, at one meter, with the subs boasting 4 ohms and 89 dB/1w/1m.
