KANEXPRO INTRODUCES IP BASED HD ENCODER AND DECODER KIT AT INFOCOMM
Designed to Multicast Digital Signals over 600 feet with Signal Integrity
Brea, CA – June 8, 2015 – KanexPro, an industry-leading provider of affordable connectivity solutions to the IT and A/V markets, is set to debut its point-to-point broadcasting over IP based HD Encoder/Decoder Kit at InfoComm 2015, booth # 5146, in the Digital Signage Pavilion. The Encoder and Decoder is a two-unit-cost-effective system capable of extending multi-cast HDMI audio/video signals up to an unprecedented 650 feet (200 Meters) with signal integrity.
These products are ideal for applications such as digital signage, hospitality display or lobby signage, commercial AV systems, classroom projection systems and collaborative PC systems.
These KanexPro IP HD Encoder/Decoders are set apart from other comparable products most notably because they broadcast for up to 600 feet (200 Meters) while maintaining signal integrity. Other key features include ease of setup; there is no managed configuration required, simply connect the Encoder or Decoder to an Ethernet POE switch and get full HD 1080p/60. A key benefit, especially to end-users, is the energy savings resulting from being powered over a Gigabit Ethernet Switch; no external power supplies are needed.
“We especially look forward to showcasing KanexPro’s IP HD encoder/decoders so tech decision makers at InfoComm can see in real time how they provide a powerful, productive and profitable IP connectivity solution simply and cost-effectively in any installation environment anywhere in the world,” said Matthew Bute, VP Sales & Marketing for KanexPro.
KanexPro’s Encoder and Decoder Kit (EXT-IPSTREAMKITX1) features real-time encoding and decoding in order to broadcast full HD 1080p resolutions and does not require a managed network to operate. The HDCP compliant transmitter (encoder) unit connects to an HDMI source, and a remote (decoder) unit connects to an HDMI display. They can be connected together to perform a broadcasting function connection via inexpensive CATx or a point to multi-point connection. Additional features include a built-in EDID library.
Users can also buy the IP decoder (EXT-IPSTREAMRC1) separately to compensate for multi-casting to up to 250 displays based on the network switch and capacity.
