UltraSlim Series, supporting 18Gbps and 4K, to debut at ISE 2017

The UltraSlim Series features a 4×1 HDMI Switcher with Audio De-Embedder, 1×2 and 2×4 Distribution Amplifiers, HDMI over HDBaseT Extender and HDMI Audio De-Embedder.

The UltraSlim Series creates a family of unmatched-high-demand solutions for custom installers, especially within the institutional or commercial market challenged by the need to broadcast uncompressed 4K Ultra HD signals with limited space settings. The high-performance amplifiers and switcher are perfect for use in multiplying HDMI signal into two or more 4K displays, such as running identical content on digital signage applications, situation and executive briefing rooms, or switching multiple HDMI devices in crowded classrooms behind a lectern, in a hotel or corporate institution. The UltraSlim Series includes the following versatile products:

• The 4×1 HDMI Switcher with Audio De-Embedder, measuring a mere 0.4 inches (11mm) thick and weighing only .26 lbs. Auto-switching allows for simple, unmanaged operation in and de-embedding capabilities allows users to extract stereo audio to an external amplifier. The 3.5mm stereo output delivers audio de-embedding and ARC capabilities supporting color depths up to 32 bit and internal EDID management for various display resolutions up to 3840×2160@60Hz. It is capable of transmitting HD 1080p up to 50 ft., features a high-bandwidth of 18 Gbps, is HDCP 2.2 compliant and auto-identifies input resolutions to match displays.
• The 1×2 and 1×4 Distribution Amplifiers, measuring 0.4” thick, support HDMI 2.0 specs with 18 Gbps bandwidth with 4K/60Hz resolutions and YUV 4:4:4 color sampling rate. The Distribution Amplifiers enable duplication of one HDMI source signal to two or four UHD 4K displays without losing 4K signal integrity or resolution. They provide the latest HDCP 2.2 compliance and support HD 1080p/60 and other computer resolutions up to WUXGA.
• The HDMI over HDBaseT Extender consists of an UltraSlim transmitter and a receiver, supporting CATx distance up to 330 feet (100 meters) with bi-directional power over HDBaseT and control with HDCP 2.2.
• Lastly, the HDMI Audio De-Embedder, designed with 18Gbps of high bandwidth, supports the latest HDMI 2.0 specifications. The HDMI Audio De-Embedder is designed to de-embed HDMI audio streams from any HDMI device to digital or analog stereo maintaining 4K/60 video resolutions with YUV 4:4:4 color space and pass-thru for HDR 10. Audio formats include LCPM 2-channel stereo, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio with audio sampling rate up to 192kHz.
